Missed Delivery
Missed deliveries can be filed by the subscriber using the SSM. Missed deliveries are entered directly into Newzware as a ACTION_MISSED or ACTION_DISPATCH transaction, depending on if a recovery plan is configured for the site. The default of the missed delivery transaction is ACTION_MISSED and the subscriber is credited for the missed delivery. Remark codes shown in the missed delivery screen can be customized using the WEB_MISSED_REMARKS parameter. The values are comma delimited remark codes. All remarks shown in the missed delivery screen are of type ACTION_MISSED or ACTION_DISPATCH.
If a recovery plan is configured, then a shortage record is created and the missed delivery will show in the Dispatch screen in Newzware and can be dispatched by the Customer Service clerk.
